Default Yenko pictures from 1982-3

I found some Yenko pictures I took in 1982-83 that I thought someone might recognize or appreciate them. The pictures of the white car were taken around Lawrenceville GA by a friend that thought I might be interested.I don't know the year of that Pinto but that might date these 3 pictures later than 83. Check out the fender emblem placement & nice wire wheels, it does have 60k on the 140 mph speedo. These other pictures might be from Street Machine nationals?? Bill S or Big Jake might remember. George

The orange car was Mark McCartneys of Ohio. It was at the Yenko photo shoot from 1981 for Hot rod magazine. Notice the Lakewood three point bar. The car was an amazing car...BKH

Whats with the white car?? no 427 emblems?? no yenko stripes?? Isn't there one white 'douglas yenko' out there? Is this that car?? Also the yenko emblem seems all chrome on the fender...
the stripe also?..was that an original option without the emblem like that? I think I remember seeing that stripe somewhere else...maybe the assembly manual?

Awesome pics !! so many Yenkos in one place... I luv the orange car with the 3 point rollbar !!

interior shot is cool also....all the wood trim...that was an option?? and the guages I thought were usually mounted in the midddle..one guage is different than the rest...

and what a setup...4 speed, no console, high redline tach, 140 speedo and center fuel guage... that 140 speedo is part of the double copo package?? or is that on all yenkos?

My Douglass Yenko did not have 427 emblems or stripes either,my scanner did not pick up the colors in the emblem,on the photo I can see it. The rear emblem on my car was kind of faded & chalky, not much paint left on it. Did you guys notice the rear panels painted black on the orange & maroon cars.George
