Default Writing up an ad for the site

Is anyone using any type of word application to write up an ad for the site - like a For Sale ad for a car.

Or are you just coping and paste the text into the site?

Need to write up an ad and don't want to do it on the fly - on line.

Eddie,

Whenever I have done this, I just typed up a Word document and cut and pasted.

That is what I do as well. Got tired of ebay ads disappearing half way through the process. So for virtually all ads, I start out with a word doc.

Depending on the item, I may also do two versions (especially for vehicles going on ebay or CL. Start out with "here's the short story".
Then give a very brief description.

That works for most people. Then I say, "If you are still interested, here is the full story".

Answer all the little questions that anyone might ask. Some guys just can't get too much info.
