After driving the car now for a while with the new system in.......Three things are very noticeable........#1....The E brake actually works.....#2....The car stops better.....#3...The brake pedal travel when applying the brakes is now consistent .........With the Seville calipers the pedal was all over the place.....Hummmmm!!!.......Well.....At least it's fixed now........another Chapter closed......Maybe I'm finally finished

So......Yesterday I drove thru an Intersection that had crumbling cement due to road deterioration.........A car driving the other direction drove over a chunk and it squirted out sideways and hit my car........Darn.......But......When you drive them this is what happens.......Nice little dent.......

So......I go to Pulera's today to see George who did all the body and paint work on the car originally............I get there and they tell me that George passed away this morning...........Darn..........RIP George

Another one of those little things that just wasn't 100% right that I couldn't leave alone.......After switching the steering over to 67 spec's to get rid of the Ackermann issues which worked out perfectly.........and driving the car for a year......while having the car up on the lift changing the oil, I noticed that the centerlink had some up and down movement to it (about 1/8")...Ended up being the Idler Arm assy that had the "wiggle" in it...(New Aftermarket Part made by Centric)......Nothing to worry about,......But......I didn't like that.......So......I did some checking around trying to find another one of better quality.......Checked on the Moog website and it seems they no longer make this Assy.......So.....I ordered another Assy from a Impala supply house.....It shows up and it was very tight without any up and down movement......so....I install it and everything is good......until I grease it......Up and down movement is back......WTF......Anyhow..........I start doing Internet searches and found a new Moog unit on Ebay.......Expensive but I bought it anyway.......Showed up today and installed it.......Greased and installed and there is no movement other than the radial motion it's supposed to provide.......absolutely no up and down movement......Maybe much to do about nothing.......But......Quality parts are still out there, but ....you have to go out of the norm to find them.....
