Re: Vintage Drag Pics
For some reason I thought the Air Grabber was also standard on the 6 Barrel.

Re: Vintage Drag Pics
Yeah. Lots of hemi darts. I owned that Dick Landy Dart for a few months back n the late 1980s. sold it for a minor profit and didnt find out it was THE Landy Dart until two years ago. Back then they didnt have the internet or a way to cross reference the VINs against original delivery records. Boy, did I feel like a dummy for not sanding the red primer down to see what was underneath.

That's my understanding. I just don't see it on the 440 Six Barrel Roadrunner in the photo.

Re: Vintage Drag Pics
----Being an Ohio boy I saw a bunch of these cars run. The "Bill McGraw" in the Charger worked for Bob McDorman in the 60s. He actually set my 66 427/425 Corvette up as he was racing one at the time. He lent me a pair of mounted slicks one weekend when both he and I made some passes at National Trail.I was going to Ohio U at the time and N.T. wasnt that far from me. Bill was a great guy and went with the Rod Shops when they started up. I believe that car was restored and showed up at an auction if I remember correctly.......Bill S
