Special Paint '68 "Berger" Z/28
This car was advertised on Craigslist as a Berger Z/28...looks like the owner ordered the NCRS records and found it had been sold at a different MI dealership.
Neat car but rougher than a night in jail, as they say. 1968 Camaro Z/28 |

NOT sold by... NCRS paperwork shows the dealer in which the car was Ordered To! Could be a dealer swap which is very common especially with neighboring dealers.

I agree, could have been a dealer swap but weird that the ordering dealer went through the trouble of ordering special paint then dealer traded. Since Alma is not that far from Grand Rapids, maybe the selling dealer sublet performance mods to be done at Berger. Cool car though. I knew a guy that had a late 68 LA built Z that was painted Cortez Silver with a -- paint code. He claimed he sold it to Floyd Garrett several years ago.

Doesn't matter IMO - still just a story if there's no Berger paperwork....

Currently sitting at $4750 with no reserve. Glad the seller is being realistic on value.
Must have been a beautiful car back in its glory days. Love the attention to detail on the cowl plenum install. The dealer who installed it on my Z was a little more careful but not much.... 1968 Special Paint Z/28 |
