1969 Chevrolet Black Standard Steering Wheel with Shroud Camaro Chevelle Nova Impala

This is a super clean black standard steering wheel that was used on 1969 Camaros, Chevelles, Novas, and Impalas. This is a 1969 only wheel with the pebble grain in the center of the rim. 1970 used a similar wheel but it was smooth in the center. The part number cast into the back of the wheel is 9749408-6. The casting number on the back of the shroud is 3939760 DPM-69-325.

This wheel is in awesome original condition. It is bare plastic and has never been painted. The rim is free of cracks and other damage. The pebble grain is very nice and defined. There is even still grain at the top portion of the wheel which is gone on most every wheel. The wheel does have a split through the hub area as shown and 2 hairline cracks where the center spokes meet the rim as shown(very small).

The shroud is also in very nice condition as shown. It is also bare plastic and has never been painted. The outside has no breaks, cracks, or repairs. The bare of the shroud has one broken mounting boss that could be easily repaired.

These real deal 1969 wheels rarely come up for sale, especially in black color.
