Default Memorial Day

Thanksgiving is a day when we pause to give thanks for the things we have – Memorial Day is a day when we pause to give thanks to the people who fought for the things we have! TAZ

Here's a drone video of Riverside National Cemetery where my wife Lynn's dad and mom are interred. It's very moving...

And here's a video that explains what each fold of the flag represents...it's very interesting:

We give respect, honor and thanks to ALL that have served in our armed forces, so that we can live in a great country like the USA!

We proudly display Lynn's grandfathers and Lynn's father's flags, too.

Wink Memorial Day..

Every veteran deserves our thanks and respect...I try to keep that in mind every day of the year, not just on special holidays.

Lest we forget..

I'm remembering my late grandfather, a WWII Navy veteran assigned to the destroyer, USS Brinkley Bass. He was once personally praised by Gen. MacArthur for how well he maintained his area of the ship. RIP William Neil McDonald.
