Default Schumacher vs Force

I was watching the coverage of the Winternationals and heard about the little conflict between John Force and Don Schumacher over the fact that Jimmy Prock returned for JFR. Can someone help me understand why Don is so upset with John? Didn't Prock work for Force for 14 years before moving over to DSR? Did John get all bent when Prock left? Did he claim that Don was ruining racing?

Prock is a big boy, if he didn't want to leave he would have stayed with DSR. Or did John offer him that much more of an increase to come back?

I remember when Prock went to DSR and JF was pretty pissed. You know those 2 have bumped heads for years. Everyone always insinuates that JF throws money around to get what he wants. NHRA has become a soap opera. It definitely isn't what I remember watching from the stands in E town as a kid.

This is the same thing that happened when that arab owner plucked all the talent to field his TF cars a number of years ago ... TAZ

Don's upset because he got outbid, plain and simple! If you recall, Warren Johnson got all bent when his crew chief (Greg Anderson!) left the Team to become his own driver - Warren was upset "....if someone wants to dump $5 million into a program..." well, they did want to, and, they did win - over and over. I'm a HUGE WJ fan, but his personality put him exactly where he is today..... That's the drama of NHRA....let's talk about Leah!

HAHA @ Registry ... Leah is hot and she can drive. I remember when she was driving nostalgia diggers. When I first move to california we met her at a coast airbrush car show she had the digger there doing a cacklefest

Makes for good tv. Controversy may help ratings. If you saw the interview with Jimmy Prock, he said it was wanting to be back in the John Force family. Schumacker has enough money to own or crush John Force Racing

I think the next top female driver will be Megan Meyer. Force and Shu will be arguing over her! She is a lot like Leah and EE, right down to the Jr Dragster ranks...and not afraid to get her nails dirty! I still believe that Drag Racing has the best role models for kids, JMHO....

I'm not reading/hearing anything from you analysts about how important Alan Johnson
is too JFR ???? and how might AJ be compensated ($$$$)

Does AJ still mfg heads and ??? and who does he sell them too ???

Who is the equivalent to AJ for DSR ???

and does DSR amd JFR buy the same parts or mfg their own parts ????

All the Teams have an AJ equivalent, so there is no advantage that I can see. The crew chief / tuners are the guys who compile it all in their heads and make the setup decisions - that's why they get the big $$ and get lured away by other Teams.
