Would not have had that fitting on a z28 they all had screw on vacuum lines for the brakes .

I just checked my non RS 69 Z-28 and it has the exact same fitting less the smaller nipple.

From what I can tell after some research, it looks like the 69 Z-28's used a hose barb with longer hose, and possibly 70-71 and later may have used a screw type connection with a hard line to the valve cover area. I know my old 69 L-78 Camaro used a screw connection and hard line.

Z28's did/do not have screw on brake hose booster fittings in 1969, they are push on with a barb and clamp.

Just checked my non RS Z... same as Pauls- no metal pipe, rubber hose over push on fitting with a hose clamp.
