Cool 1st gen Rear seat partition board.

I am looking for an answer of both fact and opinion ... On the first Gen F body cars which is correct ... The black cardboard side facing the trunk or the jute padded side facing into the trunk. I have seen them both ways but never thought to look on a survivor car to see which is 100% the right way ... just looking to pick some brains

My 69 Camaro has the black facing the trunk. The way it's cut, that's the only way it could go...Joe

You mentioned jute. I've never seen this before. Did they have jute?....Joe

I deal with repop parts all day .. They now make them with a jute pad applied to them
