Default Very sharp '70 Chevelle SS396, original Silver/Black/Red

Neat car, sold for $31k back in June of 2016. I'm thinking that was well bought assuming the drivetrain truly is original.

Well the plot thickens on this one...the 2006 ad states the engine is the correct CTX code but has the wrong VIN sequence...check out the link below.

If the seller in 2006 did not know if the tranny and rear end were original then maybe they did not know how to confirm if the block was original? Who knows. Great looking car, but I would have to see all the stamps prior to getting serious. Under the hood has several incorrect pieces but again a good looking car.

What a sharp looking combo!
Looks like the 06/16 ad is actually from this eBay sale @ $31,000...

Flint car w/ oil area Vin stamping may have created innocent enough confusion, especially if extra #'s added to deck pad?
Door bottoms indicate a need to look closely at other areas too but a quick call to the 2016 seller phone #'s may help clarify the stamping thing before anyone wants to get more serious w/ the current seller?

Definitely some due diligence required on this one. If it is what the seller claims, I would love to own it.
