Default '65 Mustang Fastback 289/4-sp California Garage Find

I was looking pretty hard for a fastback project a few years back, and most of what's out there is downright junk. This car, on the other hand, looks like a perfect starting point. Figures I just sold those Mickey Thompson headers I had been keeping for a project just like this....

Was never a big Ford guy but always really liked the 1965-66 Mustang flashbacks.Hipo 289/4 speed must be really fun to drive. And with a few Shelby add ons would be a real looker!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but $25,500 seems like a deal if it's really original paint and needs no panel replacement.
I sold one of those a while back to afford my 68 Camaro and it hasn't moved in 13 years. Too bad its a rust bucket.

There is over-spray on the door tag, not normal for a Chevy don't know about ford.

When the car in the link below is already going for $5k after one day of bidding, the '65 looks like a pretty good deal to me....
