That doesn't look like the assembly line pulley they used 49 years ago.

Isent that the right part number I've had it since the 90s it's a deep grove and it is not a repop

Looks fine to me.
I think it is just an optical illusion. Digital photos just look off sometimes. I have one down in the garage I can look at and post a pic if it would help.

Someone showed me one where the five looked different but mine looks like yours I know I have had this pulley for a long time
