Bernhard,

There is a separate section in the classifieds for eBay links. Just saying.

It's a 10 bolt cover and they are also made in 12 bolt style. You see a lot of these on eBay and they are mostly for the GTO and Pontiac guys.

This is just my opinion, even if it is rare it doesn't make it cool. I have seen bunches of these for sale over the years. There is a 12 bolt one for sale for $119. If you can't find a nice Mr Gasket or ET finned one, just use a Chrome one, they are cheap and totally acceptable.

One again these are just my views.

I have 2 of these for Chevrolet 12 Bolts. One says “396” , the other says “SS”. While there is no manufacturer name on them, I believe they were sold by Cal Custom. Rob

I don't ever recall these. Being around prior to ebay. Back about 15 years ago, I think there was 1 seller in PA who was offering all of these with the 442, GTO, 396 logos etc. I suspected back then they were the manufacturer but the auctions always were written to elude that they may be some rare old cover that happened to be NOS.

If someone can provide any pics, an advertisement, catalog pic I would love to be proven wrong. Until them, I think it is just a modern made part thay has been marketed as being vintag by a small time manufacturer.
