Eric, I have 2 pr of 8.5 satin ADs 1 pr is new, NEW! , 1 pr like new. & 1 pr of 3.5s (not sure if I’ll part with these 3.5s, but may? ) and I am only less than 1 1/2 hours away. I bought all of these in 1979! And have owned them a long time.

If you go with Centerlines, do yourself a huge favor and have some hubcentric rings made. I don't believe anyone has them on the shelf. I can send you the specs, or you can just measure them yourself. Several places on line that will make them for you.
I had several guys ask if I have to re-torque lugs from time to time, because most guys running CL wheels do have to re-torque. I do not, but only because I had rings made for both sets that I run. The very early CL wheels used beveled lug nuts (I STILL had rings made for those) but all the later wheels use a shank type lug nut. There is no way that the wheel is exactly centered via those shank nuts without a ring.

Unfortunately there's no usable hub for the wheels to register on. These Strange axles have a very shallow hub that's only long enough to register the brake drum.
On the plus side, the axle studs are 1/2". |

Maybe you could have said that it was not the backspacing you were looking for. You insinuate that I was unwilling to help or try and help or others may take it that way and that was not the case.

As I said in my original post, I need the 8.5" rears with 4 7/8" backspacing, and as I replied to your text message your wheels are the shallow backspacing. For the record, I had no issue with you. |
