Many of the deuce VINS are listed on this site under the Yenko thread, sub title 70 deuce VINs. Not all are there, but it's a start. If all that's there is a shell, it's cool, but not worth a lot of money. The cost to restore it, if you have to hire it done, may likley exceed the finished value at todays prices, and if it's an auto, or less desirable color, even less.

Pics would be nice. Hide the location so nobady can back door you, and maybe we can figure it out. Check the VIN list first.

Good luck

The most important piece of info to get from the body shell is the trim tag information - primarily the body number. Otherwise, we don't really know what we are talking about here. So, get that info, and let us know - I'll be able to tell you most anything you'd like to know about a Deuce with just that one number.

BTW, certain states did include 'Yenko' on their titles, but it was really due to the owner listing the car as such. Those same states didn't utilize the 'Yenko' reference on other Deuces, so it was more of an owner thing than a state/title thing.

Intriguing! Hope the car turns out to be real... and I agree, there are no "undesireable" Yenko colors. Not like you're gonna let one sit and rot because it's the wrong color...or an automatic.

X2

BTW IMHO it would be pretty difficult to get upside down in a DY Yenko Chevelle...

That'll buff right out, it's actually a Nova that rusted into a Chevelle.
