You've been looking at BMW's too long...
I believe it was only available with a power driver seat ? don't recall for certain. Been 15-16 years since I researched all that while building a 1967 GTO.

The RH recliner seat was a 1966-67 option on the GTO.
This seat option automatically came with the headrest. I’ve owned a couple ‘66 GTO with this seat and they are very uncomfortable when reclined, but cool. PS, the LH power seat had no bearing on the Headrest / Recliner option.

The mandatory headrest is what I was thinking there was something else it had to come with.
Yeah, they hinged weird and pushed up on the lower back. I only saw one and it didn't look comfortable.

1966 GTO reclining passenger seat
My May of 1969 built GS 400 Stage 1 Hardtop had this seat and had power windows at well.
