I'd need about a month of reading and re-reading to figure this car out.

Default Re: 1969 firebird test car 1 of 1 TRANSLATED

here is the ad translated to ENGLISH

1969 Pontiac Trans Am Firebird Engineering Test Car #9723 (Prototype 1 of 1 )
Designed mid year / PMD Engineering Designed as a Mule Car in case the 1970 F-bodys werent able to reach production.
The Only Evidence left in Existence Are the 2 B/W Photos I have posted- There are no PHS Invoices / This car was made during the middle of the year 1969 Midyear Motivation. Since it was not planned upon - GM informed PMD that tooling and dies for sheetmetal was running behind and to make a backup plan.
PMD did this to the car your bidding on , the interior is 1 of a kind with GM # 8738440(I have uploaded a picture of GM Catalog dated July 1969 halfaway down the page you will see the part #8738440 with a * that denotes it as *Intial Catalog New Part- This interior you will not see in any other car except my car as well as the B/W photos since they are the same car it is the only know pair of Seats in existence!
Reverse Projection Photogrammetry confirmed by forensic Photographer with 30 years of experience and is currently employed by a California Police Deparment.
The proof is evident the rear quarter on passenger side is unique and a confirmed match thru forensic science
I believe the passenger side rear quarter is a rear quarter that fisher body had originally planned to use for 1970,except they had issues with the die splitting!
I have posted a comparison of my PHS with 3 other PHS Reports.
Notice that all were shipped to 991 ---- Also notice that theres no interest charged on bottom .
I called PHS to get the other invoice- I was told by the owner that GM archived it!

*Leather High Back Bucket Racing Seats - GM#8738440 - GM catalog 1969 with *Only known type of seat and material to exist
*Ferrari 365 GTB 4 Formula Steering Wheel used as a Prototype in the design of all future Formula Steering Wheels made in Italy by Personal for PMD
*Rear Quarter 1 of 1 slight styling changes to them made by PMD
*Pre production 455 H.O. RAM AIR
*WS 9790071 - #16 Heads K227 -# matching
*Factory Racing Headers
*Monroe Max Air Factory Installed Air Shocks- Factory H.D. Racing Suspension-
*Front Sway Bar 1 3/16' - Rear Sway 7/8"
*Power Disc Brakes
*Coil Over Front Suspension
*Fold Down Rear Seat
*Air Conditioning
*Cibie Headlights/Highbeams -G8 made in France
*Power Windows
*Power Trunk Release
*Power Mirror
*Ratcheting Shifter
*9795705 Rear Differential Casting
*AEE A H-code on cowl tag only know cowl tag with "A "
*Interior has been dyed by P.O. - originally was gold leather
The black and white photos above are the same vehicle ,Showing 2 different options PMD Pontiac Engineers would of used if they would of carried over 1969 f bodys into the 1970 sales year.
* This heavily optioned car is the vehicle in the 2 black and white photos.
My vehicle has (1 of kind rear quarter panel) just like the one in the black and white photos Passenger Side
The Seats you see in the black and white photo GM #8738440 Foam Bucket Custom Leather
The vehicle in the black and white photos is 99.9999% conclusive using forensic photography without a doubt perfect match.
The PHS will not reflect a midyear invoice that PMD engineers were presented with a WHAT IF SCENARIO
This extended 69 production and the delay of introduction of the '70 Camaro,Firebird was not purposeful,
nor was it related to labor problems;
The situation arose during the middle of 1969 --this was never planned.
When situation presented itself they did these styling changes and motor swap mid year as a possible backup plan in case thyey had to use same
Fbodys ,,to sell to public in 1970 ..Made slight changes so public wouldnt think they were buying the previous model year at a higher sticker for 1970
It was late because the quarter panel draw dies failed during final die tryout and had to be rebuilt from scratch.
Fisher Body had lots of troubles drawing the 1970 quarter panels without wrinkles and splits.
They attempted to correct the problems by modifying the draw dies during final tryout but the problems got worse instead of better.
Fisher finally had to redesign/rebuild the draw dies, which delayed the launch by 4-5 months.
Situation at the FISHER BODY , forced a unforseen situation and the car was created just in case the tooling and dies were not gonna be ready.
Everything is Original besides the Engine wire harness
This Car is truly amazing Dont miss out on a chance to own a piece of history

***ATTENTION PLEASE READ *** THE PHS WILL NOT REFLECT ENGINE CHANGE WHY?
1. ****EXTENDING THE MODEL YEAR****
THIS SITUATION AROSE IN THE MIDDLE OF 1969!
2. PONTIAC PMD ENGINEERS DID NOT PLAN THIS! WHEN THE SITUATION AROSE PMD HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PICK A CAR DURING THE MIDDLE OF 1969 !!!
3.THIS IS A FACT - AFTER PMD ENGINEERS BECAME AWARE OF SITUATION THEY PICKED MY CAR YOUR BIDDING ON-
4.MY CAR WAS SHIPPED FROM NORWOOD OHIO - 1ST WEEK OF JULY 1969
5.THE VEHICLE WAS SHIPPED MINUS THE DRIVETRAIN ! VEHICLE DRIVETRAIN WAS INSTALLED IN FREMONT CALIFORNIA!
6.**** WS ENGINE *****************
7.**** 97900071 BLOCK CASTING ****
8.**** EUN 260380 ***************
9.*****ENGINE VIN 23Z11**********
10. ONCE AGAIN THIS SITUATION DID NOT HAPPEN BEFORE 1969 ,IT HAPPENED IN THE MIDDLE OF 1969 ...
11.THIS IS WHY THE PHS DOES NOT SHOW THE WS ENGINE CODE..
12. PLEASE ALSO UNDERSTAND THE PIC OF THE AIRBRUSHED CAR IN COLOR IS OF TEST CAR 9749-
13.THAT IS A FEDERAL CAR HENCE THE 49 STATE DESIGNATION.
14.THIS IS A CALIFORNIA CAR AND THE TERM RAM AIR WAS NOT ALLOWED .. THIS IS WHY THEY DUBBED MY ENGINE A 455 H.O.
****THIS SHOULD BE EASY TO UNDERSTAND JUST MAKING IT CLEAR *****

There are a couple websites and forums with very untruthful and unfactual information regarding my automobile . This group of Individuals and there website are very deceptive and untruthful regarding information that is factual!
The car appeared in a article originally titled " MIDYEAR MOTIVATION" This group and there website are knowingly publishing on there website facts that are blasphemy.
I have the original articles written by this group that states the whereabouts of my car as unkown. Yet they edit there website to spread untruthful information. If anyones needs these articles they originally published to sell a clone of my car PM me!
This group in fact fabricates fakes build sheets and publishes untrue information or witholds information to deceive buyers or uses it to sell there fake cloned cars
Please feel free to examine every inch of my car in person. Anyone with knowledge will be able to see in person that all my sheetmetal ,drivetrain, suspension ,Interior is all original.

I encourage anyone that is serious about purchasing a car that is 8x more rare than a T/A Convertible to examine this automobile!

This guy has gone so far with his lies that he's spiraled into insanity.

I didn't realize you could fabricate a story and make a fool of Mecum, but here it is.

http://mecum.com/lot-detail.cfm?lot_id=CA0814-190527

Next up he'll have a standard Camaro that is now a 1969 LS7 prototype Yenko engineering car.
