Love the '71 Charger/Bees. The "gills" in the doors and the air grabber hood scoop is just cool!

There was a black/black one of those in Garden Grove, Ca....in 1979/80 time frame...the original engine was sitting on a stand and another 6-71 blown hemi was in the car!

The owner of the car was a BIG guy....and the Charger sat at Ray Alley's Engine Masters...in Garden Grove....yes, that Ray Alley (that was Kenny Berstein's Crew Chief...among other things...)

If you are a fan of the '71 Chargers, we will soon be making a big anouncement about one of our newest MCACN sponsors. If you are a '71 Charger enthusiast, you can probably figure out who will be joining us this year as our "Class of 1971" Official Sponsor!

On a sidenote; I had the pleasure of showing David Hakims all original unrestored 32,000 mile '71 Hemi Charger this past weekend at EyesOn Design. What a sweet car! Thanks to Mr. Hakim for letting me steal it right out of his driveway!

I wonder if that's the one that ended up in Otis Chandler's collection...

I was thinking the same thing (re: Otis Chandler's old car).

Could be...Somewhere I have pics of the engine sitting on the stand, I thought that engine looked huge sitting there!
