Tire Fit?
I had a question. I have a set of 15" Cragers and Mickey Thompson L60 15's that I used to have mounted on my 70 Chevelle. The Chevelle had adjustable air shocks and I lifted it up and the tires fit fine, but occasionally one side would graze the well.
Would these wheels and tires fit the rear of my 68 GTO which has a stock ride height with NO air shocks?

I doubt it Frank. Would not take the chance.

Frank,
Here's my two cents. Back in June of 1972, I got a 68 442 and put a set of 15x10 Cragars with L60's on the back. Had air shocks for tire clearance. Going to the stock car races at Sycamore Speedway one Saturday night, one of the plastic air shock lines rubbed up against an exhaust pipe, with a resulting loss of all air pressure to the shocks. Body came down onto the tires and the wheel well lip rubbed a big groove into the sidewall of the tires, ruining them. Had to walk to a farm house (1972, no cell phones) and call my brother who brought the stock tires and wheels out to me in his VW bug. As Sam says....don't chance it.

Frank,
With your all stock '68 GTO, they will not fit. Dan
