4 years and 8 months ago I started my 30'x30'
My son, my wife(great big thank you for their help!) and I did insulation, sheet rock (56 sheets of it!) thought we would never finish hanging rock
boy did it get small fast. I love having my own lift and A/C

Threads been a bit stagnant as of late so thought I'd post a few updates from my second shop out back here. I've slowly been changing the theme of the garage to fit with the cars as I seek out things from GM, AC Delco, and vintage automotive suppliers.

Just recently I found these cool STP Signs straight from an old Nascar crew chief who had them from the 60's. Pit boards on the backside to call the drivers to the pits. Can you guess who he crewed for?

This DST AC/Delco Service was scooped at an auction a while ago and still needs to be hung. I have a great spot for it, just need to carry a ladder around and do it one of these days.

The light up clock was from another member here and just arrived a while ago. Adding more AC Delco as things roll along and hope to mount this clock sign in the weeks ahead.

Here's the pair of Nascar sign boards before and after they were hung in my work shop.

It was a PITA reaching back up over this cabinet to mount the first sign.

Second one placed on the adjacent side of the same wall.

I'm digging the look of these vintage signs in this shop.

There are tons of lifts out there now with the Chinese having driven the prices way down. Some of them are really good with high quality ramps, decent pumps and are completely powder coated. This one came from a local distributor who's sold thousands of them now and I couldn't be happier with it. Was in the $2500 range when I bought it and is rated for 8000lb.

Came with Poly casters for easy moves, drip trays, drip tarp, H/D tool tray and scissor jack for the tray. Pays to shop around.

I thought about posting pictures of my garage all year but was kind of intimidated by some of the fantastic shops shown here. Today I told myself to just do it. I've built some cabinets and a work bench, hung some signs and banners and finally displayed most of the awards and dash plaques I've won over the last 30 some years. It works for me.
