What did you have to order to get the hood insulation pad on a flat hood 69 camaro

My car has standard interor but came with deluxe seat belts & woodgrain on instrument cluster wiper & headlight & radio aera & consol & center steering wheel shroud the pad was long gone but a few of the old hood pad clips where still there ??

Based on your description the car was built with Z23 Special Interior Group. That included the trim plaque with grab handle on the right side, wood grain trim on the instrument cluster and steering wheel shroud, bright pedal trim. YA1 Deluxe Seat Belts were optional, not included with other options.

A lot can happen to a car over the years, maybe it had a pad in error. The January '69 Hot Rod magazine test Z/28 had a Custom Interior but no pad. Early production LA built car.

That's Z23 interior group. The belts were optional. Mine came the same as yours but never a hood pad. That was Z87 Custom Int, so maybe someone added it.

The Full Hood Insulator Pad was also standard on the SS and SS/RS - according to Chevrolet Docs:
