Default Black-on-Red '70 GTO Convertible

Pretty cool...supposed to be an original black/red car.

A friend of mine in Highschool had this same car.
Really fun car,and he was astonished to discover it had a slapstick shifter ater I got behind the wheel..

From the description he wants $37,500. That seems like a pretty good deal to me if it all checks out.

That was a nice little feature Pontiac built into those cars, worked well too!

Just look for the oval slot in the plastic slide & away you go!

Nice color combo - I like it!

Think other GM division console equipped Turbo-Hydras were slapstick back then....Chevrolet-Olds-Buick.
Both my '71 & '72 SS were back then,& my '70 Chevelle L78's Turbo 400 is a slapstick too.

Reminds me of the awesome car my summer camp counselor bought new in June 1970. He showed up at our camp in Orange, Connecticut and parked it right out front for everyone to see. It's still burned in my memory even though I was only 7 years old at the time. 1970 GTO hardtop. Black with bright red interior and a rear spoiler.
