Default interior photo

Hello-
Does anyone have a photo of a 69 Nova bench seat in 735 Medium Blue cloth bench (standard) so I have an idea what i am trying to match on mine. Front seat and back seat would be great if anybody has one.
Thanks so much!
Chris

Post 69 interior..

That photo showing the blue interior is a not a factory install...strictly custom made by the owner.

I did a quick search and found a photo for a 4 door car...but, it will give you the idea. The standard cloth bench seat was a combination of vinyl and cloth. The seat was not as fancy as the custom interior, less padding, lower quality cloth, etc.

A showroom sales book would be a good source for the information...

Thanks WilmasboyL78
I have seen the brochure before, but was confused by the caption, and i am not always the brightest bulb in the pack, is the top (green) the custom, or standard covering. Then i assume the blue bottom would be the "other version"
Thanks,
Chris

Post 69 Interior..

The green is the custom cloth...the bottom photo is the standard.

You should really try to find a 69 showroom catalogue that has all the interior swatches/colors...it would be a useful tool. Perhaps someone on the site has one they can post a photo of...

it is my understanding the standard grade interior material, especially where cloth is involved is not available in reproduction. It may be worth a call to Chris Robbins at Legendary...he may be able to help you. It may also be possible that other models [Chevelle, Imapala, etc] used a similar material...worth a look.

Good luck

Interesting how the brochures (for 69 at least) always seemed to show the optional deluxe seat belts with the brushed stainless finish on the female buckles. Makes it look a bit classier, I guess.

possibly they also eliminated the problem of glare for photography. shiny chrome would have had to be 'dulled'.

Post 69 interior..

I don't think I've ever seen a Nova with the standard interior and the deluxe belts...in fact with all the Novas we have had, only one had the fancy buckles and that was a bucket seat car.
