68 RS Z/28 - Lemans Blue SOLD
1968 Camaro RS Z28 SOLD!!
Lemans Blue/White Stripe - Deluxe Interior Born with - drivetrain and all components, wheels and seats, belts and dash. MO motor, M21 and BV Axle Factory Protect-o-plate, sale history paperwork from 1984, last inspection sticker from 1973. MacNeish inspection report done in December, 2014. Virtually perfect inspection. This car has been in Aliquippa, Pa its entire life with all two owners and the selling dealership (Kenny Ross) within 5 miles of each other. The original owner (Angelo Casuccio) parked the car in a building in 1972 where it sat all intact until 1984 when it was time to raze the building. A local gas station towed it out and got the car for towing/storage fee's. The second owner (Teddy)*then purchased the car with its mileage at 34,740 and where it is still is today. In 2007 Teddy had Chuck Huber and Paul Cupp from CPRx do a comprehensive no expense spared restoration on the car using only vintage - NOS GM parts where needed. All parts were acquired*in the mid eighties thru Miller and Sons Chevrolet, Aliquippa PA. As noted in the inspection/certification report - the Le Mans blue and white stripes are excellent, the original Deluxe seats. console, and gauges are excellent w/ restored original door panels. Engine bay is in excellent condition. Under Carriage is in excellent condition w/original floors and trunk. This Z28 is restored to the highest level and qualifies to enter the "Legends Concourse Certification". As you would expect, show chrome, re-anodized aluminum, perfect body fit and trim alignment. Very crisp, clean lines and detail. The pictures sell the car - if you ever have seen my Yenko cars, this is right with it. This car has in Muscle Car Review - September 2010, MCACN 2016 and as far as storage goes - it lives in a bubble all the time. Fresh as the day it was done. The level of detail put into this 68 RS/Z28 is second to none. $110,000.00 Impossible to acquire a documented, born with drivetrain RS Z/28 and then restore it at this quality for this money. Feel free to contact me….. Eddie PM’s or call, 480-208-8259 cell AZ

This is one of my dream cars! Just SPECTACULAR! Not trying to take ANYTHING away from this car, just trying to learn.
Did GM use Teflon tape originally on manifold/head/block sending units? Also was it used on brake line fittings? I see the lug wrench is Gray, I thought they were supposed to be black? Was there a time where they were gray and then switched to black? .. Danny |

Danny, the teflon tape is only to help seal the threads - not factory used, just what we did.
As far as the lug wrench - good question, if you want it black, ill paint it for you. :-))
