Very cool! I know there is something about those Orange 69s that just hits you! My Orange 69 was from DOAN-CALHOUN INC in Philly. I will have to check those newspaper archives. Thanks for the links!

Great story, I love it. Orange, deluxe interior, Rally Sport. Holy cow, it doesn't get much better. Did you get the Warranty Plate from the second owner?

By chance were you at a Friday night beach car cruise in Hampton Bays this summer?

Awesome camaro. We met this summer. I still have a few pictures of your car on my phone. I really enjoyed reading the display board you had set up at the cruise detailing the cars history. ROB

The Protect-o-plate certainly has value to me and belongs with the car. I mentioned it to Paul the first time we spoke. If he offers it for sale or otherwise I will own it. The owner is a great person and my goal is to get to know him and share stories when we meet and letting him drive "our" car.

Thanks everyone. These cars have a story to tell and I have a passion to uncover the histories of why, how and what. I will tell you it really was very exciting for me to finally uncover the missing link, ask my wife I was jumping for joy. What also made it special was the previous owner was so enthusiastic. His first question was "will you sell me the car I've been searching for years". I said that I chased this car for 27 years and it's not going anywhere!!!, but you can visit and drive it any time.....
