'69 RS/SS L78, Rally Green
Pretty nice project car with a CE block. Unfortunately, no paper, but has a lot of good signs pointing to L78 lineage.

That's quite a project; would be beautiful when completed but a lot of work left to get that restored.

No argument from me. Hate to buy a car in pieces.

When it was for sale before: http://www.camaros.net/forums/66-wha...-car-ebay.html
124379n689822 Trans wasn't noted before and stamp looks hokey IMO. Axle is 4 month earlier - possible....

I wonder if that's the same guy that had the Black Z28 I looked at over in that area. He had a 396 car sitting in the garage beside it in several colors. I don't really remember much about that car but it does look familiar. That black 69 Z was the last week of production and had the 6500 RPM Redline tach in it, and was really rusty

I own the car. I purchased it just as described in my ad. The reason why the Seller I purchased it from did not mention that it had it's original trans etc is because he knew nothing about classic cars. He truly bought it in a storage unit and was only interested in the antiques in the unit and not the car and it's parts. I have a copy of the eBay ad I purchased it from. He didn't even know it was an RS or a BB car, and didn't care. He started the bidding at $400 No reserve because he felt that was scrap value for the car and it's parts and anything over that would be a bonus. I don't post on this site but I've bought and sold to a few fairly active members and have met some good friends from here. I write the most descriptive ads I can and take close ups of any stamps. This project sat in the unit for many, many years. The idea that people were restamping camaro parts in the mid 70s is news to me. Imo the stamps or the legitimacy of the car are the least of the perspective buyers worries, finding someone to built it the way it deserves to be completed is the issue, at least in my area.
