Re: Magic Mirror Treatment
Charley: Seems I remember some discussions on 68 Camaros with MM info on the tag. Isn't that an export car?

Re: Magic Mirror Treatment
Well, it's obvious that not <span style="font-weight: bold">"ALL"</span> the plants were converted after '64

Re: Magic Mirror Treatment
Verne: I think only the export cars received that tag.

Re: Magic Mirror Treatment
Was Norwood a BOP plant at that time or strictly Chevrolet?

Re: Magic Mirror Treatment
Magic Mirror was the new acrylic lacquer paint that started on all GM cars for the 1959 model year, though some '58s had been painted with it as a test.
As has been said, your decal can't be any earlier than '64 because that particular logo didn't come out until then. I've seen that decal once before and suspect it was part of a program for GM dealers to apply some kind of sealant or special polish, like Blue Coral. ...It's possible that decal is Canadian. |

Re: Magic Mirror Treatment
Thst "mirrors" what I've been thinking. It's possible, but I don't suspect it's a Canadian thing.
It would look good displayed next to a can/glass jar of GM Blue Coral BIG |
