The Butch Schultz '61 Biscayne is restored and still owned by Butch. Resides in WA. Not the original engine but a real '61 '09. It was one of the 142 originals delivered.

Camaro is in England rebodied as an 81 and the hauler is a few miles from my house still in Rod Shop lettering. This is the original Columbus Ohio Rod Shop team hauler and later Bob Bond from near I live bought it and the 71 Hemi Rod Shop Charger.

A classmates dad bought the hemi 71 Charger approx 77-78 from Bond and it was in his barn on his farm until they sold it maybe 7-8 years ago.

The Rod Shop Dodge Colt with the Guerny Weslake engine sits 4 miles from my house.(engine long gone)

Wow, cool, I didn't know that. I believe I have a small photo of Izykowski's 1969 Camaro somewhere in my files. I'll post it if/when I come across it.

I presume Bill didn't own it long else there'd be more photos around of the car.

Am I correct?

Pete

I have no idea. I wouldn't be surprised.

Bill only drove the Camaro one season. He sold it to Barry Curran as he then drove for Scotto & Blevins. Bill was Car Craft Magazine's Stock Eliminator Driver of the Year in 1968 driving his second '66 427 Biscayne named "Paranoia".
The first '66 "Kicks" ran in A/S (I posted incorrectly stating B/S). Almost positive that he sold that car to Joe DiLoreto. Joe Di is still racing a '66 Biscayne that is red and called "For Love & Money" but it is not the original car.

Pete, I have several pictures of the "Super Paranoia" Camaro, but I could balance the National Budget easier than getting them to appear here. I'll gladly send them to you if you'd be kind enough to post them for everyone to see. I've become good friends with Bill and am also good friends with Joe Scotto.

Yeah, I remember Bill driving Paul's Corvette while Paul drove the 1955 Nomad then later on, Pro Stock Vega.

More great history. Love it!

Pete
