You would need to look at the engine serial number in front of the RH cyl head. If it has a "V" then the engine was built in Flint & no sticker. If it has a "T" in front of the serial number, then that is Tonawanda & it would have the sticker....Joe

I don't believe that Flint had a sticker like that. If I remember correctly Tonawanda only built big blocks. Can anybody confirm that?

To the best of my knowledge concerning 1st gen Camaros Tonawanda built small blocks (except for Z28 302's) and all big blocks. Flint only built small blocks including all the Z28 302's. I owned in the past a 1967 RS that I bought from the original owner. It was assembled in Van Nuys. It had the L30 327 that was assembled in Tonawanda, and it had the Tonawanda decal on the valve cover. I hope this helps.

Going by what X66 replied ....."You would need to look at the engine serial number in front of the RH cyl head. If it has a "V" then the engine was built in Flint & no sticker. If it has a "T" in front of the serial number, then that is Tonawanda & it would have the sticker....Joe"

My car does have a V , Is Willow run the same as Flint?

TIA

No,Flint Mi. is where your engine was assembled & the engine plant, before being shipped to Willow Run Mi. where it was inserted into your Nova waiting at the car assembly plant.
