Default NOS 68-72 Nova SS hood...... with hood pin holes..

Hi! I found an NOS factory 68-72 Nova Super Sport hood that I was going to snag for myself. Once I got the pictures of it, I saw that it had holes in it for hood pins like the Chevelles had from the factory. I don't believe Novas ever came with them, and have decided that I won't be using a hood like that for my car (I like the look of the hood pins, but want mine to appear factory stock).

Does having those hood pin holes in that NOS hood lessen the desireability and value? Or is it something that could be repaired if not needed?

Thanks!

Allen

If it's nice and straight down the center rib, and has no other issues, and it's reasonably priced, you should own it.
