Default '70 L78 Camaro

Neat car, sounds like the motor and trans have been replaced, but the rear is original.

Very nice car forest green and standard saddle interior. 07C is a late build. To bad a lot of the big money original parts are missing to restore concourse.

Seller is firm at 25k. I offered him 21k when it was up the first time a few weeks ago. Nice cool looking car that has L78 providence. Unfortunately, the L78's are not valued like the Z28's are.

Thirty years ago I bought an L78 engine out of a 70 Camaro from a guy in the same town as the seller. It has its factory CKO stamp. Probably too early for this car since it has a cast date of 2/70 and a stamp date of 4/70.

I wouldn't count your engine out. I have a 03C 70 L78 with a Sept 69 cast date.

It would be awesome if you had this car’s original engine. Ask the seller for the last 3 numbers of the vin.

I've tried 100 times to read the VIN with no success to be certain of the numbers. It's just too rough down at the flange. If I was certain I had the right numbers I'd reach out to the seller. But without knowing 100% I'm too hesitant to get anyone's hopes up.
