Default Shifter ID help

My brother has recently been diagnosed with a terminal disease and I am going through some of his stuff to try to organize it. He has two muncie shifters in his garage and I thought maybe one was from a 68 Camaro he owned a few years back. One is a 3973867 which I know is 68-72 Chevelle/El Camino but the other has me stumped as I cant find any numbers anywhere on it. I'm going to attempt to post some pics. Any help would be much appreciated.
