Here's mine, March of '68. Day 2 was well underway by this time. And a year later after I could afford some shiny wheels. Looks exactly like that today.

Sorry, great stories from the 60's as well. Unfortunately I missed those though you should have seen my souped up trike I had.

I'm sure that trike was documented with POP and two build sheets, probably had a clothes pin retaining a playing card in the spokes to mimic LS6 motor noises, and restored to MCACN Concours Gold standards!
Too bad you missed the 60's, the golden age IMO.

Playing cards yes, paperwork no. I was well into the 80's when I realized paperwork would have any value. Also had the handlebar streamers.

Here is our survivor '67 427/390 Vette during the second owner's tenure. This is nearly immediately after he put the car in storage from about 1979-2017.
