1969 Nova SS 396-375
After knowing of this car and owner for 30 yrs, and yes he is the original owner, I may be able to pry this car from him. It is the REAL DEAL with all doc's including bill of sale first registration BORN WITH drivetrain 12,000 ORIGINAL miles, white paint, black bucket seat interior TH400, 3:55 posi., original everything. Bought new from Funston Chevrolet in Detroit (now closed). Most original Nova I have ever seen....heck the silver trim on the steering wheel shroud is perfect....still smells new inside! Trying to determine a value/price....even in this economy.....Thanks

Sounds like a great opportunity Jim. Nova gurus will chime in shortly. Good luck!

Re: 1969 Nova SS 396-375
Don't know Nova prices but I do know Vettes. And if this were a solid lifter big block vette the original condition (as long as it was taken care of properly) would easily add 50-100% of what a restored #1 car would go for.
So if a #1 69 nova is worth 60 then it would be worth 90-120 (if novas follow the same rule as vettes) hope this helps. Rich |

Re: 1969 Nova SS 396-375
I agree on 75+ They are only original once, then god only knows what happens to them when they get restored. I find new things on my survivor L78 car all the time, its amazing.

Re: 1969 Nova SS 396-375
One of my friends paid $57.5 for this car,

Re: 1969 Nova SS 396-375
I think it's an awesome car personally, but I think the market will show that the Automatic Transmission and color hurts it slightly. I'm at $50K. Make it a Black/4-Speed car and watch how much higher it would go.
