Default 1969 Z10 Camaro

I know this is not a supercar but does anyone have any info or a contact number of someone who would have data on the 69 Z10 Camaros? I've got a BB 396/350 HP car Z10 may/69 build date, Norwood and am trying to find out any info about these cars. There use to be a Z10 website but it dosn't work any more , the guy who use to run it, was a Joe Sharman ???Thx for your time. Bob

Joe sold his car a few years back.
He ran that site, and is out of the hobby.

Try Camaro Research Group (CRG) at www.camaros.org

Or what do you want to know?

Thx , Basically anything really , I've read a few reports that there were some where between 200 - 300 or 500 Z10 coupes made ? Any idea on how many are left ? ( Everyone always says +/- 10 % but I would think that would be low as people would realize what a rare car it is and hang on to them). Apparently that they were either made to help fill over demand orders ? or that they were made specifically for 4 southern states that were requesting hardtops with Air , and they didn't want a convertible in the summertime , namely Texas , Okla , Louisiana and Arizona. I'd Love to talk to Joe or anyone that knows about the cars , Just to know the history.

Jump over to Team Camaro, plenty of info there. Try some searches on the forum. www.camaros.net/forums

Try to contact Donna Crispino, she was keeping a registry of the Z11 and Z10 cars, when involved with the ICC (International Camaro Club), she did reside in PA. The old US Camaro Club had a fantastic magazine and did articles on these cars, I have several issues, from being a member. In the back of Hoopers Camaro book is the address for ICC and Donna I think.

These cars were produced for the Central Dealers Zone due to most Z11 cars going to West and East Coasts. They apparently could be had with most options except the Orange houndstooth interior. I had a friend with one.

Contact Mark C at camaros.net. He's big into Z11, and can probably help with Z10.
