1970 Chevelle - Nice Trim Tag
I have seen alot of tags removed from cars and put back on - this car has the be the worst job I have ever seen. To me the tag looks questionable no less the rivets that are about 3 sizes too large.
Here is the car on eBay - says it is real and documented but the docs dont look legit to me. The ink on the sales invoice looks like it is about 5 years old and the POP doesnt look naturally aged to me. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Awesome-7...=item3a755edf2b |

Re: 1970 Chevelle - Nice Trim Tag
Incredible!!!!
Coincidently, I just had a customer stop in last week with a Black Cherry BLACK stripe LS6 for sale. Special order stripes as noted on his Leeds buildsheet. Neet car. This SS396 car is fairly nice as well if you look beyond that trim tag. Hard to believe anyone would make such a HUGE error.

Yes, it is a very nice looking car.
What do you think of the docs? |

Re: 1970 Chevelle - Nice Trim Tag
Nice car.
Paper work looks legit to me and those rivets would be an easy fix. What kills me is the center trim bars on the center of the front grill. I have seen hundreds of guys that restore these SS's with that trim that belongs on a malibu grill, why they do it is beyond any reason
