Ebay ad: scam or not?
Take a look at this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/BIG-BLOCK-CHEVY-496-...1QQcmdZViewItem A buddy of mine is looking for an engine for his pulling truck, and saw this ad, and wanted me to look at it for him...but my gut is telling me it's a scam? A super-low "Buy It Now", and alternate contact address... |

Re: Ebay ad: scam or not?
Whenever I see an ad like this and have an interest, I will send an email telling them I live close by and want to see it in person. If they have an excuse for not being able to see it, you know the truth.
This is a scam, look at their feedback and see what else they sold and location they sold from, Arkansas. This engine is being sold from NY, NY. Someone hijacked their account. |
