Default Sand's Chevy Show 2017

Since moving out here, I have gone to the Sand's Chevy Show in Surprise every year. This year was no exception, but the attendance was way down. A Corvette Club runs this show, so most of the cars in the show were late model Corvettes, many fitted with Lambo doors.

Some things that I learned from some attendees;
427's were not available on Big Chevys in 1966.

No 4-speed 1st gen Monte Carlos were ever built at the factory. They were all done by speed shops.

The 454 equipped 1963 Buick Riviera RS was a terrible, trouble-prone car.

I think that was everything.

If you were wondering, I am no longer 69supersport396. Being an awesome administrator, Jody changed my user name.

And now for some photos.

Nice cars, thanks. That looks almost like the car Sonny Corleone was gunned down in at the tollbooth, and I never understood why Dodge didn't continue that side stripe on the Super Bee further down the side onto the doors. Thanks again for the very informative post as well as all the nice cars. I didn't know all of those "facts."
