Re: Yellow RS Copo
I know of an 1969 Chevelle 300 Deluxe SS396 that was built in oshawa, an old version of the VVS Docs doesn't show the dealer, but came with a copy of the micro phish, and a new set of docs doesn't have the micro phish. It has the dealer listed.
GM of Canada should get a metal for preserving this information!! Ryan

Re: Yellow RS Copo
George Zappora at Vintage Services does an excellent job of sorting through all this stuff and preserving it. In the early days, they did send copies of the microfiche files but that soon stopped when it was noticed that key codes and multiple VIN numbers were present. Soon after these copies started going out (late 80's) where multiple cars could be seen on the microfiche, calls surfaced complaining of people being called after their cars were chased down. Seems a few people decided to hunt down the Copo cars by listed VIN/Option numbers and there were some upset people who learned their info was getting out there, so it stopped where only certain data gets out now, and no copies of the microfiche are ever sent out.
It's awesome to have this info available on Canadian cars and I hope GM finds more info in the US some day (or finds what they say isn't there)
