I wasn't fortunate enough to have known Fred Gibb but even lacking that, his legacy opened a completely new and positive chapter in my life.

I almost met him in 73. Was going down to Laharpe to look at the left over ZL1s. Unfortunatly it didn't work out at the time. I will always regret that.
Best wishes, the IA. crew.

I was fortunate in the fact I had experiences with him as both a business man and a racer. He carried himself with honesty and dignity no matter what hat he was wearing.
Fred Gibb was a true gentleman.

I never got to meet Mr Gibb! But I never heard a negative thing, about MR. Gibb. A true icon in many ways! BBBenny

Unfortunately I never got to meet Fred, but in a small way it seems like I did, because Helen and the girls were kind enough to include me in their extended family, sharing pictures, stories and reminiscing about how it was back in the day.

The first time I met Helen was at the second Gibb reunion. I was there with our ’69 Yenko Camaro. Helen thanked me for bringing the car, then began to tell me that they had sold a couple of Yenkos, going into detail about years, colors, etc. I was blown away by how knowledgeable she was about the past, and still marvel at her today.
