70-72 Chevelle AM/FM 8 Track mounting brackets
My car (1972 Chevelle) has a single mounting/support bracket on the passenger side of the factory AM/FM 8-track stereo radio that supports the radio via a screw (in addition to the dash support via the volume/tuning knobs).
I see no evidence of any additional previous support and was wondering if that was indeed how the factory did it - or am I missing some brackets elsewhere? I have a factory tach/gauge dash if that makes any difference. Car originally came with AM/8 track stereo and years ago I installed a correct AM/FM 8 track stereo. If anyone has any pictures of what is correct that would be helpful. I am assuming 70-72 are the same - maybe not Thanks |
