Default Rough '70 Nova SS 350/4-Speed Project

Must have been one gorgeous car when new, Cortez Silver with a black bench and 4-speed trans. Looks like the original trans is still there, but the short block was replaced early in the car's life.

When you can buy a really nice restored #s version of this car for $35k, it's a little tougher to justify taking on a project....

Unless your really into the project for the project itself, it does pay to sometimes just buy one done..

Would be nice when done but the one problem is proving it is an SS. As you know, without original engine or paperwork, there's no proof.

Actually with this one there is. It has the factory F41 rear sway bar set up. SS only, or it's a Yenko deuce.

Subject VIN 114270W330761
I noticed the F41 too also wondered about the mileage thing mentioned in the ad?
Makes no difference but you'd expect the driver's bench area to be more worn if 140 thou miles?

Looks like the factory AM/ 8 track stereo with 4 speakers is still in it.Wonder if there is a partial build sheet still. under one of the seats.

Default #s '69 Firebird 350/4-sp Convertible Project

Looks like this one was originally triple green...and you can definitely see some bondo in the quarters....but overall not a bad start if you want a convertible. Got to be a heck of a lot cheaper than a Camaro in comparable shape.
