Default What happened to the 70's street freaks??

Don't laugh at me for posting this but what happened to these cars? I am guessing most have been updated at some point but there has to be survivors somewhere. I vividly recall a 70-73 Camaro, black, wide Vectors on all 4's, black header side pipes, rear window slats and the whale tail deck lid. I would see the car off and on in the high school lot and I would love to own it today just like it was. There's a guy in town with a 68-70ish Vette, 70's paint, flared openeings, the whole 9 yards. I really like that car too. So, anyone know of survivors??

Back in the 80's we used to buy alot of muscle cars in the south and sell them in New Hampshire... I can not tell you how many pinstriped diamond tuck chromed Camaro's and Chevelle's we used to run to New England... they were everywhere back then... ohhh the memories!

Does "has/had" mean that he (Don) sold the Chevelle?

I did not sell it or plan to for a while now. For every 10 people who looked at it 7 thought it was a time capsule and the other 3 thought it was Hideous. Most people loved the paint but everyone hated the interior. So I brought it home and gutted the interior. SHE'S GETTING A MAKEOVER!!! I will post pics of it when im done. Please let me know your thoughts on the finished car!
