Bill, See what happens when you bring a trailer?

After my 130 mile weekend jaunt with the hemi, the tail pipe tips are finally burning light grey. Haven't seen that in years! (it's the little things in life that bring such joy, isn't it?) Nothing like a 45 minute long, 4,000 rpm cruise at 65 mph to clean things out.

I'd also like to thank all the guys who helped me get my engine cleaned up, after the upper rad hose popped off the rad, and made a mess. We winched it into the trailer, to avoid any further need for cleaning. I got it home and spent another hour with detailer getting more anti-freeze off various engine parts. It looks like it never happened now.

It was a lousy end to a great day, but no big deal in the end.

Here are some more pics taken Sat. by my buddy.

Another pic of this Firebird. The paint was outstanding. Really cool car.

This '61 gave me goosebumps. The owner said it had about 575hp!

This guy had a little cleaning to do when he got home....

Check out the tow bar set-up. Never saw that one before.....

Here's a rear shot of that Charger 500. Very cool!

Both of these were serious nostalgia

That's it. Sorry they're late.
