Default Please Help Me Find My Uncle's COPO

I'm looking to find the owner of the car GrumpysToy sold it to, Dave bought it at my uncle's estate auction. Lost contact with Dave. Does anyone know who he sold it to? "The Radical One"

Are you talking about the Same COPO that was in Jerry Heasley's RARE FINDS Book? It was a Green COPO camaro with "THE RATICAL ONE" on the sides of the doors.

That was a good story in that book. Is your Uncle the original owner Doug Evancic? I read he went to Buy the COPO back But the bidding went up higher then anyone expected And Dave McGaffee got it for around $50,000. Where you at that Estate Auction Also?

My uncle and Dad had a business together and was the second owner of the car. I would go with them to the races, my dad always drove the car. They stopped racing and as growing older I would one day hoped the car would come out of the garage again. I would always have the car ready to go without my uncle knowing i was keeping up on it. When I got my license is when I pushed them to get it out cause I wanted to drive it but that never happened. I would wait for the weekend for my uncle to leave and pull the car out into the sun as it always was on the trailer. For many years I keep the car ready. I was always told it would be mine but you didn't know my uncle. I even laid down the money he had to have for it but then he always told me he couldn't sell it. I didn't even know it was a COPO until the auction, but being a COPO didnt make a difference to me. I thought I was over this until I was digging through some old magazines and here I am again. Thx for reading

Oh forgot to say that everything was in my uncle's name as for the business. He never transferred any title to a car or truck, and when he died we found out that he willed everthing to his girlfriend. His girlfriend was ill and had two daughter to a previous marriage and one had power of attorney over her and they sold everthing without ever setting foot in the garage.

We contacted the original owner, thats him in the pics with Dave. Thought that maybe he could get it back because we knew the title was still in his name but he must not of pushed it.
