Same thing happened to another guy I know his account was suspended for 7 days. He couldn't buy or sell during that time frame no appeal. I personally list my number on the auctions. People call often with questions and making offers. Best of luck.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I hope it works out. I have had that account since 1999 and it seems wrong to have it taken away for no real reason. I'll post back when something happens.

I agree..it is a pain..but theres nothing else on the planet with the kind of exposure... when they valued the seller it was the best place on earth, then they gave the power to the buyers and its been hard to deal with since..

if get something rare..its the first place i want to sell it..but now...i have to weigh the value of exposure to the ton of crap that comes with it..

OK, for those interested in what happened, my account has been reinstated. Apparently, Ebay is really cracking down on outside sales and contact outside of Ebay. It is a real shame as I play by the rules but sometimes when buying an expensive part many buyers want to talk to the seller over the phone. That is no longer allowed. The guy I talked with at Ebay said phone numbers are not allowed in listings at all. Its strange since it seems like one out of 5 listings has a phone number in it. He said my suspension was due to someone sending me their phone number. Because I did not reply stating that ebay does not allow phone numbers to be sent through messaging I was suspended. I never even called the person whoo sent me the message. I simply answered their question through ebay messaging and moved on. I can understand Ebay wanting to crack down on outside sales but the way they went about it in my case is totally wrong.

Thanks to all the members who reached out to me. I hope this does not happen to anyone else here.

Thanks for the interest guys. Since I have had my ebay account back online I have been bombarded with messages asking what happened to the items I had listed including these covers. I plan to relist these covers this Thursday. As a token, I will offer free shipping to paid members in the US on these covers.

Also, I'd like to answer a few questions about these covers that have been asked. These were originally chrome covers which were later black wrinkle finished. I believe they will clear many roller rockers since they do not have cast in drippers like other covers. I imagine some will clear and others will not.

Thanks again,

Jason

Default motion covers

Nice early covers with the large emblem cut to fit. I sold a small block set like that w/ large emblem for 695.00 and they went to Australia. As far as Ebay is concerned I never end a listing anymore, THEY hate that, instead just change the listing price to something stupid high like from 495.00 to 2000.00, nobody will buy it and it will end gracefully and never get relisted. You may get hate mail though.
