Default shipping a hood

a friend of mine had a 69 charger hood custom painted to give as a gift (wall art).
the paint shop is telling him that he never deals with shipping
the hood has a crate

wondering if any one can recommend any shipping companies they have used for something like this
thanks

fastenal..i checked around and everyone was about 450 to ship a hood from KCK to N Carolina...fastens all was 230..

greyhound is no longer a deal..and they will never pay a claim..it all depends on the driver, i refuse to use them anymore..i sent a tail panel to white plains NY and the driver didnt get it out of the bus..it ended up in wash state and took 2 weeks to get there and no one cared but me and the buyer..and so many of my friends have had horror stories with them..anything large seems to get damaged, by the dragging it across concrete etc..
