Default Original 67 Camaro Flat hood - Information Requested about your car

Looking to hear from owners of 67 Camaros with original flat hood for research. I discovered awhile ago some differences in the flat hoods. I believe it might be a very early production thing, so I need to hear from 67 owners to try an narrow it down. Thanxs in advanced

The difference is in the under structural part of the hood.
1. Side sides don't have the indention
2. The center portion is totally different
3. The front oval cut out hole (Far right) does not drop on the inner side

it almost looks like the inner structure was installed wrong or stamped wrong.

resto4u.
Why is that? They are totally different structures. The second photo is the common hood, which has the raised design in the center around the center raised circle. Hard to explain!

your first hood pics show raised around the openings, second hood pics shows around the opening is reversed or lowered. Now why they would change this during production, but over the counter parts years later were always different than the factory line parts.
