Default Floor Shift Linkage Question

Going thru the OEM 4 speed shift linkage on my 73 Camaro, and I noticed that the factory assembly manual shows an item called a "P. Washer" in several locations. I have no clue what that could be, and my car certainly doesn't have any type of washer in the location the manual specifies. Anyone know what a "P. Washer" is?

I see that it's also shown in some locations in the floor shift linkage in my 69 Chevelle assembly manual, so it's probably in many assembly manuals for that era.

Wow, seriously? FWIW, here's the page from the assembly manual. The "P. Washer" is item #3.

Thanks Dave. Shout out to Jim McCune also for finding them on 4speedconversions.com website. Turns out it's a very thin (.030") 3/8" flat washer, so a very specific part.

Maybe the "P" indicated Phosphate plated instead of zink ? Yes they are thin to prevent binding on the rubber grommet.
